The Repeated UnknownAn unknown name,  And an unknown face.  From an unknown time,  And an unknown place.   
A life unlived,  A voice unheard.  To feel sorrow at this,  Would be absurd.   
A soul tormented,  With dreams unfulfilled.  And a purpose never met  Before being killed.   
The story repeated,  Time and again.  Still war rages on,  Taking scores of men.   
Unknown to many,  These warriors gave.  Everything and more,  For a place in a grave.   
But do not feel sorry,  They were unknown.  Carrying out their duty,  And d The Repeated Unknown

sober mind.i sat there being myself  yet somebody else  lost in a trance  in a room full of people  i did not know.  and some of them  were handing me things  to drink.  i fell in love with the way  the lights danced across  somebody's face.  i wanted to be an actress  --your actress  so that i could be something you'd  watch over and over  like some silver screen movie.  your eyes like candles i light  for the poor souled animals  i see lying on the streets, dead  while i'm on my way to work.  and, i know of everything  and still i sit in the dimly sober mind.

Want to be written  Because the poems  
Want to  Write themselves.   
Anecdotes about assholes  
Robbing gas stations  
While disguised as  
Trees clad in  
Flannel.   
These things come naturally  
To the poems.  
They cannot be extracted  
Like vanilla,  
Or some other cooking product.   
Fetus and phoenix  
Look the same  
When mouthed.  
If the world  
Were mute,  
We’d have all sorts of pregnant ladies  
Talking about birds  
And old ladies sporting binoculars  
Getting in heated debates wit The Poems

Sing to me  Because I’m broken  And my voice has been taken from me.   
They cut out my core,  The box in my throat,  And pulled out my heart as well.  I think I may still have a body,  Or it could have been stolen too,  Since they’ve taken my eyes, I can’t tell.   
Sing to me  
Because I’m frightened  More than I’ll ever let them believe…   
I don’t want to be here  No, I don’t want to be here!  I don’t want them to touch me again!  I’m tired of fighting,  Tired of trying…  Because what’s the use? I can’t win!  &nb Sing To Me
